I have a dream. I have a dream that one day this web will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. I have a dream that users get to own their own data, control how they want to use it and decide who gets to see it. I have a dream that I should be able to take my data and my friends with me when I move from one social platform to another. I have a dream that I am able to access my data on the web using any app I want. I have a dream that one day machines could automatically process the data on the web (available in semantic formats) and offer me intelligent solutions. I have a dream that one day users will get to use any device and any app on the wireless networks without any walled garden. I have a dream today and I hope I get to live this dream tomorrow.

These are not the words of the great leader Dr. King. These are the dreams of an optimist who likes to see a world filled with open source, open data and open standards. An optimist who dreams that tomorrow’s web is an open web.
